Coaches Certification Clinics to support All MRC sponsored Sports will be held as follows:
Requirement:
   • The initial Coaches Certification Training class is 3 hours in duration and is valid for three years and is general in nature.
      • If you have a current Rutgers Coaching Certificate then all is required is your initial attendance so you can be administratively be entered into the MRC Database and you will be issued a MRC Coaching Certificate.
      • If you currently hold a Level “F” or higher Soccer License, then you only need to attend the First hour and you will be issued a MRC Coaching Certificate.
   • Afterwards a 1 hour recertification clinic, again valid for three years, is held to support the MRCs commitment for continual education of its active Coaches.
   • The Coaches Certification is utilized for all MRC sponsored Sports and each sport may have addition training for specifics regarding that sport Policies, Codes of Conduct and Philosophies / Goals per given age group.

If you are planning on coaching, or working with a team you must attend one of the coaching clinics listed above
All Clinics will be from 7 -10 PM at the MRC main meeting room. the following are the scheduled classes:.

Full Certification Schedule

Coaches Certification Clinic   Wednesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 23, 2008.  MRC Bldg, 15 Oak Avenue.  7 pm to 10pm.

Although the MRC does not require CPR or First Aid training of its Volunteer coaches the following web sites are being made available for those wishing to refresh their knowledge of both these important Life Saving skills:

Incident Reports and Claim Forms: It is the Coaches responsibility to assure that ALL injuries requiring Medical Attention are reported to the MRC. The attached forms (Incident & Claims) are to be completed for each player.
Note: An Incident report can be filed with the MRC as a preventive measure even though Immediate or Post medical attention was not sought by the player's parent or guardian.
