The Marlton Recreation Council (MRC) has been advocates for recreation for over 50 years. Unfortunately this organization has not received the support of the township or the voters for the last 10 years. The current Town Council is the first group to embrace the recreational needs. Recently the Town Council of Evesham passed a bond ordinance to improve the recreational facilities of this township. This is a wonderful thing for MRC and the 6000 children that are served by this non-for-profit organization. There unfortunately is opposition to this project who once again can deny MRC and the children the much needed improvements. These circumstances have forced the MRC Executive board to plan for the suspension of registrations. It has become increasingly more difficult to run our programs without the support of the voters of Marlton. MRC asks that the residents of Evesham think before they sign and understand that the children of this township deserve the best and this project gives them the best
