Fun Day Honors Marlton Soccer Legend Ed Midura

Over the Columbus Day Weekend, Marlton Soccer hosted the First Annual Ed Midura Fun Day. Ed, oversaw the largest growth in Marlton Soccer enrollment in the early 2000s. Ed passed away from cancer a little over a year ago. Marlton Soccer is the 4th largest program in the State of NJ and is one of the few towns with a large Recreational Program as well as a successful travel program. Ed was always about the masses when it came to soccer. Over Columbus Day weekend the kids had picture day, the kids had the chance to dunk their favorite coach in the dunk tank, have their shot measured by the speed gun and take shots on goal against a a goal keeper who at least wore an Arsenal Sweater. Be on the look out for next years Fun Day.
