On Thursday, February 12th, 2015, Heaven recruited a incredible soccer evangelist, a wonderful father and husband, and a community cheerleader - Ed Midura.

His infectious, engaging, supportive, and enthusiastic personality permeated throughout the soccer program. Ed Midura was truly Marlton Soccer. It was his passion. It was all about the kids. It was all about the community.

He "recruited..." / "persuaded" me (and so many others) into the soccer family. I have had the honor and privilege of learning from him as a coach, working with him as a coordinator, and building upon his legacy as the commissioner. He laid the groundwork for what the program and the organization have become today.

He was a mentor. He was a friend. Marlton Soccer has lost an ardent supporter and ambassador. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Linda, his daughters, and the rest of the Midura family.
