From a home run derby to scrimmages and more, come join the fun this summer at our 2023 Marlton Baseball Summer Camp!

Marlton Baseball is offering youth baseball summer camp for kids 7-12 years old from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day at the Diamonds of Arrowhead on the following dates:

Week 1; June 19-22 Note: Friday, June 23 is a makeup day

Week 2: July 10-13 Note: Friday, July 14 is a makeup day

P.S Register by June 1 to receive a camp t-shirt - limit one per camper!

Cost: $150 per week, with proceeds benefitting the Marlton Rec Baseball Program

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: First We Have Fun!

The coaches work at a level that brings out the fun in the game.

Clinic and camper participants will receive instruction on baseball-specific drills and techniques that cover hitting, infield, outfield, pitching, base running, and team defense. Drills will focus on proper infield, outfield, and throwing mechanics.

Players will receive instruction on proper hitting mechanics, as well as drills to reinforce the components of a good swing. In addition, team defense, as well as several team games and competitions, will be held to reinforce the drills.

Speed and proper form training will also be demonstrated and instructed. Each day, time is set aside for scrimmaging to allow players to apply the skills learned to game situations.

During the week we will have a visit from our friend Mr. Softee to end the day!

WHAT TO BRING TO CLINICS & CAMPS:

Participants should also bring water, a snack, cleats, helmet, Bat and Glove, dressed in baseball gear ... and be ready to have fun and play ball!!!!

MEET THE CAMP INSTRUCTORS

Mike Appalucci: Mike is currently the Varsity Head Coach at Moorestown High School. Mike was an All-State, All South Jersey, and Carpenter Cup performer at Bishop Eustace Prep High School. Mike played Division 1 Baseball and was a 4-year starter at Mercer University in Georgia as well as a First Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference performer. Prior to his appointment to Moorestown High School, Mike served as Assistant Varsity and head Jr. Varsity Baseball Coach for 12 seasons at Moorestown High School.

Rob Valli: Currently the coach of the NJCAA DIII Champion Rowan Gloucester County College Roadrunners! Rob has coached over 20 years in college baseball. As a head coach he has over 500 wins, 7 trips to the NJCAA DIII World Series and has won it twice. Coached at the division one level and was a scout for the Miami Marlins.

We will also have college coaches and potential major league players joining the coaching staff to assist in the drills, skills and overall fun!
