ALL REGISTRATIONS FOR COACHES AND PLAYERS will be via THIS PAGE and through the links below. MRC will be using TeamSnap for player and coach registration and team management. If you do not have a TeamSnap account, you will create an account during the registration process, at which time you can register for the respective sports and coaching positions below. NO registrations will be done in SIPlay, Sports Engine or Groundworks. No cash or checks will be accepted.
"REG SAVER" registration insurance is offered at time of registration through TeamSnap and is independent from MRC. We offer no opinion or endorsement of the product, but do pass the option on to our families. Click here for Reg Saver information.
Coaches will need to register for each sport that they desire to coach. Coaches should have credentials #1 and #2 before registering. Background checks will be completed after registration.
All Coaches are required to register for each sport you would like to coach. If you have multiple children, you will need to register for each division separately so that when division coordinators run their report your name will be recognized and considered. There is no cost at this time.
Registering does not guarantee a coaching position.
All Sport Board Member are required to register as a volunteer for their Sport each season if they will not be a coach.
Coaches/Sport Board Volunteers will need to register themselves including your legal name, date of birth, address and proper contact information. Your spouse can not register on your behalf.
Coaches Certification is a 3 step process.
1. All Coaches must attend the RUTGERS Coaching Clinic. This one-time class will provide your RUTGERS Coaching Certification for LIFE. Prospective coaches only need attend one class. The class size is limited to 50 and we need a minimum of 10 people to register to hold the class. The Marlton course fee is a one-time fee of $35.00 and certification is valid for life. Participants MUST register and pay below through TeamSnap.

Coaches can take the RUTGERS Class at another agency online if you are not able to attend our date.

We will be accepting Marlton Dek Hockey Winter 2021-2022 registrations from AUGUST 12 until SEPTEMBER 30th. A late fee of $25.00 will be applied to all registrations beginning October 1. A multi-child discount will be applied at time of registration, but all children must be registered at the same time.
NOTE: NO PLAYER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE LEAGUE DRAFT. MRC Hockey attempts to roster competitive teams based on player ability, with each team being assigned players with a variety of skill levels. In direct terms, late registrations hurt the integrity and competitiveness of the program.
There will be ratings nights for Penguin and Beaver on 10/11 and 10/12 prior to the season. Players need only attend one night. We strongly encourage participation at a ratings night. Parents will be contacted in the early Fall with final details. Players are drafted and rostered in late October.
MRC Hockey offers multiple divisions with practice beginning approximately November 1 and games beginning Thanksgiving Day weekend with our opening fundraising tournament. Dec 1st through mid-February, games-only are played Mon-Sunday. Chipmunk division is weekend-only with a split session of coaching followed by short games.

Tournament (Travel) Dek Hockey Info: is a competitive extension of the recreation season and typically runs from the last weekend in February until the second weekend in May. Marlton Chiefs will field several competitive teams in A, B, and C divisions, depending on the number of players seeking to play tournament (travel) hockey. Travel will be in South Jersey and consist of approximately (5) tournaments playing a usual minimum of 20 games, and more as you advance in the tournament bracket. Tryouts/ratings for Tournament Hockey will be held in early December on a weeknight. Players must attend at least one tryout. We intend to have players rostered, uniforms purchased, and registration complete by the holiday break for the start of the tournament season in February. Tournament players cannot be rostered to multiple teams or multiple towns for tournament season. Hockey players who play spring sports are asked to give EQUAL preference to hockey and spring sports, understanding that time will be divided between hockey and other spring sport commitments. Tournament hockey players must have played hockey for Marlton in the Winter 2021-2022 season. Tryout signup/registration will be sent to all participants at a later date.
The Sports Unity Program provides the opportunity for special needs children to participate in organized sports.

Sports Unit Program for Adults! Based on the tremendous success of the Sports Unity Program, the Marlton Rec Council is launching a program for adults ages 18-35, to play team sports, socialize and have fun. Our mission is to offer a special needs adaptive sports and socialization program for adults with developmental disabilities.
The first SUP for Adults Program begins in the Fall of 2021, with Kickball. The Fall session will run in September and October at the Diamonds on Monday nights 9/20 to 10/25 from 7:30-8:45pm. Registration is open below May 1 to August 14.
Registration for Wrestling is now open from September 20 to November 21. We are accepting registrations for wrestlers ages 5 to 14. The season cost is $140.00. Season will run November 29th to March 1, 2022. Ages 8 and under will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Marlton Middle School. Ages 9 and up will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Cherokee High School.
Fall 2021 Baseball registration is CLOSED. Registration is $100.00 for all age groups and player birthdays must fall in the parameters below. TeamSnap registration will also offer the correct division based on your player's birthday.

YOUTH UMPIRES: Marlton Baseball is always looking for youth umpires to officiate our U7/8 and U9/10 year old rec games. Our next class will be on August 22nd from 10am to 12pm at Kessler Field/Oak Avenue. We encourage any youth who is 13 or older to sign up for our youth umpire clinic; there is no charge for the class. Youth refs earn $30 per game.
There is nothing scheduled for Marlton Travel Basketball at this time.
Basketball Winter Recreation Registrations is usually open in the Fall and we offer the following divisions. There is currently no basketball at this time.
Fall 2021 Cheerleading registrations is open May 19th to July 3rd. After July 3rd a registration late fee of $25.00 will apply with a hard close date of August 1st.
Ages 5-14 are welcome to cheer and the season fee is $125.00
Fall 2021 Cross Country registrations is OPEN July 14th until August 31. There is an early bird registration discount for all registrations prior to August 1!
We continue to gather information on what events will be available this fall but feel confident that there will be more of an offering than what was available last fall. We are also working with the teams that participated in GSTAF to see who would be interested in fielding a team as well as the other meets available to participate in.
Athletes must be nine years of age or older (all athletes must be nine years of age or turn nine years prior to December 31, 2021). (Born on or before December 31, 2012).
Practices will start in mid-August with a summer training schedule to be provided once you sign up. Commissioners Greg Cieslik and Chris Corona will be putting together a Q&A for MRC parents TBA later this summer. More information to follow as well on practices and meets.
We also want to encourage all parents of athletes to consider obtaining their MRC coaching certificate. You can find more information about attending a course in becoming certified through the MRC website. No experience in Cross Country or Track & Field is necessary to be a coach.
Fall 2021 registrations are OPEN for our K-2 Clinic. A late fee of $25.00 will apply after June 30 with a hard close of July 15th.
K-2ND GRADE CLINIC: K-2nd grade clinics Start on Saturday September 11, 2021. Clinics will run every Saturday 8-9 AM for 8 weeks.
JUNIOR TEAMS (3RD-5TH GRADES): Junior Teams begin practice on August 16. Practices continue every Monday and Wednesday., games typically Saturday.
SENIOR TEAMS (6TH-8TH GRADES): Senior Teams begin practice on August 17. Practices continue every Tuesday and Thursday. Games typically Sunday after 12:00pm.
EQUIPMENT: All girls will need a stick, colored mouth guard (no strap), and shin guards.
Fall 2021 registration is OPEN June 9th until July 17. Registration is $275.00 per player. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT of $25.00 if registered BEFORE July 1! No late registrations accepted!
Ages for Registering for the Tackle Football Season are noted below. These ages are as of October 1st, 2021:
75 lb – 5,6 year olds
90 lb – 7,8 year olds
105 lb – 9,10 Year olds
120 lb – 11,12 Year olds
Junior high – 13, 14 year olds (7th and 8th grade).
No 9th graders permitted
Equipment handout Monday, August 9th. Practice begins August 10th and is every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8PM. Practices are held at Evesboro-Downs fields. Scrimmage games will be every Saturday or Sunday until the season starts, with games beginning in September and running through the end of November.
Spring Flag Football Registration is open March 5 to April 9.
Play with your friends, grades K-12. Games are Sundays at Evesboro Downs from Mid-April through Mid-June. Registration $130 includes team jersey, flags and belt.

Golf Fall 2021 Registration is CLOSED. All golf slots are full for the Fall season.
The age for participants are 5 years old to 17 years old. Children are not allowed to wear jeans. Children should wear sneakers. Children should have hats for the sun; especially the morning sessions. Children are allowed a beverage; water preferably.
There are four sessions; Fall Golf will run from September 12, 2021 until October 10, 2021 each Sunday. There will be a Rain Date for October 17, 2021. Class taught by a PGA Instructor at Indian Springs. These are Sunday only sessions (1st Session 9 am to 10 am) (2nd Session 10 am to 11 am) (3rd Session 2 pm to 3 pm) and (4th Session 3 pm to 4 pm). These sessions are for eight participants each at a first come first serve basis.
Parents are asked to sign a waiver; as to the instructor being able to have physical contact with the child for adjustments regarding proper body positions for the lessons. Parents are asked to remain onsite; parking at 535 E. Main Street, Evesham, NJ (Indian Springs Driving Range). This will help for the children to go to the restroom/level of supervision.

Boys lacrosse registration will open on January 1st and close on January 20th. This short duration registration period is necessary so that we can monitor and navigate any COVID restrictions.
Boys Lacrosse Leagues and tournaments will field teams based on grade of the player and the cost is $160.00

Cost: $100. This includes a uniform.
We will wear the same uniforms as last year. Individual uniform pieces will be available for purchase as needed in January (date to be announced.) Please check the fit of your uniform with pads when you register.

Spring Soccer registration is open from January 13th to March 18th. **No late registrations will be accepted.** We are looking to begin the season March 27th. The following divisions will be rostered for the spring rec season.
Fall 2021 Rec Soccer registrations are open June 11 to August 31. REGISTRATION EXTENDED! The start of the fall season will be approximately September 11. The schedule for practices and games is dependent upon the division and team, and no specific information is available for practices and games. Registration is driven by player DOB, so when you sign up, you will be slotted in the appropriate league. Advanced players may be slotted up with commissioner approval. Due to the size of the league, special requests for neighbors to be placed on the same team, or players to be on the same team due to carpool, etc. cannot be honored.
Note: U6 is for players born after January 1, 2017. Younger players will not be accepted.
U8, U10 and U14 Boys is FULL, and U10 Girls are FULL

Parents and Athletes,
It has been over a year since I have communicated with many of you. What a year it has been. Last year, we lost our Spring Track season due to the global pandemic. This year we are still faced with the necessity of addressing issues that continue to affect our daily lives due to that same pandemic.
This year’s MRC Track & Field will look and feel very different than many of you are accustomed to. The situation with youth athletics is fluid. My fellow commissioners and myself continue to “pivot” in an effort to provide opportunities for our athletes to engage in the sport that they love.
Myself and the MRC Track Assistant Commissioner have been working with the MRC Board and many of the Commissioners from our fellow teams in the GSTAF Association. In an effort to remain safe and adhere to New Jersey state guidance as it pertains to group/team athletics, we believe that we have a plan in place that will allow us to achieve that goal.
I know that many parents and athletes are eager to sign up for MRC Track & Field, but I want to provide you with the most current information as to the changes in our program to keep all members of our community safe and meet New Jersey state guidance. Some or all of the following conditions may change as circumstances with the pandemic change.
The following Township and programs will be attempting to field a team from the GSTAF;
Camden, Medford, Washington Township, World Athlete, Rancocas Valley, and Marlton

We know that many of you will have many questions (trust me, at this time so do we).
