MRC Sports Registrations


ALL REGISTRATIONS FOR COACHES AND PLAYERS will be via THIS PAGE and through the links below.  MRC will be using TeamSnap for player and coach registration and team management.  If you do not have a TeamSnap account, you will create an account during the registration process, at which time you can register for the respective sports and coaching positions below.  No cash or checks will be accepted.



"REG SAVER" registration insurance is offered at time of registration through TeamSnap and is independent from MRC. We offer no opinion or endorsement of the product, but do pass the option on to our families. Click here for Reg Saver information.




Coaches will need to register for each sport that they desire to coach. Coaches should have credentials #1 and #2 before registering. Background checks will be completed after registration.

All Coaches are required to register for each sport you would like to coach. If you have multiple children, you will need to register for each division separately so that when division coordinators run their report your name will be recognized and considered. There is no cost at this time.  

Registering does not guarantee a coaching position.

All Sport Board Member are required to register as a volunteer for their Sport each season if they will not be a coach.

Coaches/Sport Board Volunteers will need to register themselves including your legal name, date of birth, address and proper contact information. Your spouse can not register on your behalf.

Coaches Certification is a 3 step process.

1.  All Coaches must attend the RUTGERS Coaching Clinic. This one-time class will provide your RUTGERS Coaching Certification for LIFE. Prospective coaches only need attend one class.  The Marlton course fee is a one-time fee of $35.00 and certification is valid for life.  (There are currently no MRC hosted classes scheduled). 

Coaches can take the RUTGERS Class at ANY agency. 

Please visit Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council for upcoming virtual clinics hosted by other organizations. *At the completion of your class, please email the MRC Safety Director a copy of your certification card. 

2.  CONCUSSION TRAINING - completed online by clicking HERE

Once you have completed the Concussion Training, you must send a copy of the certificate to Safety Director Adam Ryan at

3.  BACKGROUND CHECK- completed online. This will be facilitated by the MRC Safety Director and instructions for this will be sent in a separate email.

The Sports Unity Program is designed for children with  special needs to participate in organized sports.

Sports Unit Program for Adults!  Sports Unity Adult Program is open to adults adults ages 18-35 to play team sports, socialize and have fun! Our mission is to offer a special needs adaptive sports and socialization program for adults with special needs.

SUP for Adults Program: Pickleball! Join Adult SUP for indoor  pickleball this spring! Thursdays, April 6 - May 4, 2023 from 7pm -8pm at the Blue Barn.

Spring Flag Football Registration is open  January 9 to March 13.

Play with your friends, teams are co-ed by grade level K-8.  Games are Sundays at Evesboro Downs from late March through May.  Registration $115 includes team jersey, flags and belt.

The spring season will run approximately 3/19 - 5/21.

Tentative schedule will be Sundays 9am (k-1), 10:15am (2-3), 11:30am (4-5), 12:45pm (6-8).  Flag is organized by grade, not birth date.

     Soccer Spring 2023

Spring Soccer registration is open from January 11th to  March 15th.  *A LATE FEE OF $40.00 applies to all registrations after March 1***    We are looking to begin the season around March 26th. The following divisions will be rostered for the spring rec season. Based on your child's DOB, you will be given one of the participant options below. All divisions are $110.00

  • Grade 1 & 2    CoEd (Players must have been born on or before  Aug 1,  2017)
  • Grade 3 & 4 CoEd (will be capped at 90 players)

   Recreation Spring 2023


Softball Recreation 2023 Spring  registration will be open December 10  to March 1.  Late registrations after March 1 will be charged a $40.00 late fee in accordance with MRC policy until the hard close date of March 14th.

Spring softball includes one practice per week and one game per week. Specific days are not set yet for practices.  Games are usually always Saturdays.  

Softball registration is open for the following divisions:

  • Grades  K-1               $120.00
  • Grades 2-3                $125.00
  • Grades 4-5                $145.00
  • Grades 6-7-8-9      $155.00 (Hard close date of March 1, no late reg)




TRAVEL Basketball tryout registration is open and closes on October 13th. 

The fee is $20.00 per grade. Strongly suggested for athletes to make both tryouts but it is not mandatory. Please pay careful attention to the grade assigned to your child. It should be the grade they are in currently this school year. Do not move your child up or down a grade during registration. A second tryout, if not necessary, will be canceled. Athletes must be registered in order to try out.

Track & Field

       Spring 2023


Track and Field Spring 2022 registration is open December 11, 2022 to March 1, 2023.  The fee for the season is $125.00

Age: Athletes must turn 8 years or older by December 31, 2023. Athletes 6 and 7 years old will be accepted with a parent who is coaching.

Practices will have a soft start date of March 15. Practice Mon and Wed for children 10 and under, and Tues and Thurs for children 11 and older.

Track meets begin in April (weather permitting) and will be held Sat mornings and a few Sunday afternoons.

We need coaches for the following age groups: Boys and Girls 8 and Under, Boys and Girls 9-10, Boys and Girls 11 and older. We are looking for a coach/athlete ration of 5:1 for 8 and under.

     Boys Lacrosse Spring 2023

We are very excited to begin another year of Marlton Boys Lacrosse. Registration will be open December 5, 2022 until January 16, 2023 with a hard close date. Our goal is to make Marlton Boys Lacrosse an experience that teaches our young athletes life lessons while instilling strong values and a love for the game of lacrosse that will last a lifetime.  Marlton Boys Lacrosse will participate in the South Jersey Youth Lacrosse League and will field teams in five different age classifications serving players currently in Pre-Kindergarten* - 8th Grade.  Our teams will practice at least 2x times per week during the season and will begin those practices in February. Games within the South Jersey Youth Lacrosse League will start in March and end in early May.  Each team will play approximately 12-15 regular season games against rival towns throughout the South Jersey area, with the potential for our older teams to participate in playoffs and end of the year tournaments. 

Age Classifications & Fee: Includes a Brand New Uniform for the 2023 Season 

  • 7U ($100): Pre-k through 1st Graders born between March 2018 - May 2016* 
  • 8U ($175): 1st and 2nd Graders born between April 2016 - May 2014**
  • 10U ($175): 3rd and 4th Graders born between April 2014 - May 2012**
  • 12U ($175): 5th and 6th Graders born between April 2012 - May 2010**
  • 14U ($175): 7th and 8th Graders born between April 2010 - January 2008^

* Please note that there will be incidental contact within the 7U division.  All equipment will be necessary and mandatory during game play.

** A player must play within their current grade level unless that player is born between May 1 - August 31. Those players will have the ability, to play up one grade level, if approved by the Marlton Boys Lacrosse Board.

^ A player in 8th Grade born between January 1, 2008 - April 30, 2008 will need to apply for and receive a waiver from the South Jersey Youth Lacrosse League in order to participate.    

The number of players on each team will vary as it depends on the overall number of registered players for that specific age group. If numbers are too high to field one team within a specific age group, multiple teams in that age group will be formed and players will be placed on teams based upon a player's experience and skill level.  Coaches will evaluate their respective teams in February and place their team within the appropriate South Jersey Youth Lacrosse division to ensure competitive game play. 

Prior to Registration: US Lacrosse Membership 

Players and COACHES must renew or join US Lacrosse ($30.00 per player which is not included in the registration) prior to registering to play. Required Lacrosse Equipment: All Age Classifications 

The South Jersey Youth Lacrosse League requires each player to wear and participate with the appropriate equipment. Players are responsible for sourcing all of their own playing and protective gear which includes the following: lacrosse stick, lacrosse helmet, lacrosse gloves, lacrosse shoulder pads, lacrosse arm/elbow pads, and a mouth guard. For further information on the required lacrosse equipment, please visit:                                                                        




     Spring 2023 Rec Baseball

Rec Baseball Spring 2023 registration is open until March 12.  Player birthdays must fall in the parameters below. TeamSnap registration will only allow you to signup for the correct division based on your player's birthday.

Spring Season:

  • Starts in late March/Early April with practices

  • Runs through mid June 

  • Opening Day will be held at the Arrowhead complex in April.

  • 8u, 9/10 and 11/12 age divisions will compete both in Marlton and Medford

Cost: $150 all ages, Quickball $105.00

Age Groups:

  • Quick Ball 4/5 years old (DOB before April 30, 2018): It's all about having fun, as kids learn the basics of proper throwing, fielding, and batting form through the game of T-Ball and Coach Pitch through the very fast-paced "Quick Ball." 

  • 6 years old (DOB before April 30, 2017)- Batting tee transitioning in coach pitch

  • 7 years old (DOB before April 30, 2016)- Coach Pitch

  • 8 years old (DOB before April 30, 2015)

  • 9/10 years old (DOB before April 30, 2014)

  • 11/12 years old (DOB before April 30, 2012) 

  • Babe Ruth 13-16 years old (DOB before April 30, 2010)


  • 2-3 days/week for Quick Ball (one weeknight and Saturday mornings)

  • About 3-4 days per week for all other levels (including occasional Sundays)

Basketball Recreation:  Rec Basketball Registration is now open. See the details below for gender and age divisions. Registration links for players and coaches are at the bottom of the description area. All registrations are $150.00. Registration open until November 20th, older ages registration open into December. 

Kindergarten Grade K  (Child must be 5 years old as of 10/1/2017), Co-ed (Boys & Girls one division), Cap 72; 6 week Clinic format program held at Jaggard/Evans. Program begins January 7th ends on February 25th. 6 teams max with 12 players per max. 

1st Grade Grade 1st, Co-ed (Boys & Girls one division), Cap 72; 6 week Clinic format program held at Jaggard/Evans. Program begins January 7th ends on February 25th. 6 teams max with 12 players per max. 

2nd Grade Grade 2nd, Boys Division & Girls Division, Cap Boys at 60 and Girls at 40; 8 week Clinic format program held at Evans/Jaggard. Games/Practices once a week and clinic on Saturday. Program begins January 7th ends on March 11th.

6th-7th-8th Grade Girls Grade 6 & 7 & 8, Cap girls at 60. Practices will begin in December with game schedule and reduced practices in January.  Season ends on or about March 11th.  Teams are limited to at most 6.  Games will be played at MMS or Cherokee on Sat or Sun. 

8th-9th Grade Boys Grade 8th 9th, Cap boys at 80. Practices will begin in December with game schedule and possibly practices in January.  Season ends on or about March 11th.  Teams are limited to at most 8. Games will be played at Cherokee on Fri, Sat or Sun. 

10th-12th Grade Boys Grade 10th 11th 12th, Cap boys at 72. Registration open until December 11thRatings will be held in December with a draft between then and January 6th. Games will begin on January 8th. Season ends on or about March 5th. Games will be played at Cherokee High School on Sundays. 

9th-12th Grade Girls Grade 9th 10th 11th 12th, Cap girls at 36. Registration open until December 11th. Games will begin on January 8th. Season ends on or about March 5th. Teams are limited to at most 8. 

We will play with teams from Mt. Laurel and Medford as well. Games will be held at Cherokee High School on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. 





     FALL 2022


Registration for Fall 2022 Recreation Baseball is open until August 19th.  Registration is $100/ea for all age groups.

Quickball gets a bat/ball set for each child.  Season starts 9/6/22 and runs through mid October. 

Registrants will automatically be grouped by birthdate at time of registration.

  • Coach Pitch Minors - November 1, 2015 - April 30, 2017

     Summer CAMP 2022

Summer time fun at baseball camp is BACK! From competitions to baseball-specific drills like hitting, pitching, and more, come play ball and join the fun this summer! Register now as space will be limited. 

The camp is for kids 8-12 years old and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day at The Diamonds of Arrowhead on the following dates:

Week 1 : June 27 -30.  Rain date Friday July 1

Week 2: July 11-14.  Rain date July 15

Cost: $150 per week, with proceeds benefitting the Marlton Baseball Fields Program

Coach Mike Appalucci, varsity head coach at Moorestown High School, and Coach Rob Valli, head coach of the NJCAA DIII Champion Rowan Gloucester County College Roadrunners & director of the NJ Baseball Academy will be back to run the camp!!

     WINTER 2022

Winter 2022 Cheerleading registrations  is open October 11th.  Ages 6-14 are welcome to cheer and the season fee is $125.00. Teams will be placed by age and skill levels as determined by coaches.    We cheer for MRC Basketball games.

     Fall 2022


Fall 2022 Cross Country registrations is OPEN until September 1. 

Participants must be 10 or older. Athletes must be ten years of age or older (all athletes must be ten years of age or turn ten years prior to December 31, 2022). (Born on or before December 31, 2012).

Practice will start in Mid August with preparation training provided ahead of time. Practice will be Tuesday and Thursday at Cherokee High School.
You can play in another sport (like soccer) and still participate in Cross Country. Cross Country Races will be on Saturday morning’s starting in September. Races are approximately 1.5 miles in length. 
All skill sets welcome from the beginner runner to AAU Junior Olympians.
You do not have to live in Marlton.

We also want to encourage all parents of athletes to consider obtaining their MRC coaching certificate. You can find more information about attending a course in becoming certified through the MRC website. No experience in Cross Country or Track & Field is necessary to be a coach.




     FALL 2022

Field Hockey 2022 Fall registrations are OPEN!. A late fee of $25.00 will apply after June 30 with a hard close of July 15th. 

  • K-2 Clinic $95.00 ($120 if late)
  • Grades 3-5: $130 ($155 if late) 
  • Grades 6-8: $150 ($175 if late)

K-2ND GRADE CLINIC: K-2nd grade clinics Start on Saturdays in September. Clinics will run every Saturday 8-9 AM for 8 weeks. 

JUNIOR TEAMS (3RD-5TH GRADES): Junior Teams typically begin practice August 15. Practices continue every Monday and Wednesday, games typically Saturday.

SENIOR TEAMS (6TH-8TH GRADES): Senior Teams begin practice on August 16.  Practices continue every Tuesday and Thursday. Games typically Sunday after 12:00pm.

EQUIPMENT: All girls will need a stick, colored mouth guard (no strap), and shin guards.




One-day event. Flag Football Turkey Bowl 2022 at Cherokee high School on the turf. Registration is now closed as of 11/22.

Grades K-1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8: all ages $20.00

Games will be played in the morning on Thanksgiving. Start times to be sent next week. Usually younger kids play in the earlier time slots.




     FALL 2022

***PLEASE READ REGISTRATION IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE REGISTERING – CHANGES TO EQUIPMENT APPROACH STARTING THIS YEAR!*** Two part process: register to play or coach through TeamSnap,  and then use Sports Paradise link to order uniforms.

Fall 2022 Travel Tackle Football registration is OPEN May 9th until June 24th. REGISTRATION EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 11 FOR 75lb only. All other divisions are at capacity. Registration is $275.00 per player. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT of $25.00 if registered BEFORE June 1st! Due to the increased lead times in the Supply Chain as it relates to equipment and uniforms, we ask that you register early. There will be NO late registrations accepted this year!

Ages for Registering for the Tackle Football Season are noted below. These ages are as of October 1st, 2022:

  • * 75 lb – 5,6 year olds
  • * 90 lb – 7,8 year olds
  • * 105 lb – 9,10 Year olds
  • * 120 lb – 11,12 Year olds
  • * Junior high – 13, 14 year olds (7th and 8th grade).
  • * No 9th graders permitted

** Please note, if your child is over the weight limit for their age group, they will still be able to play with their age group but will be required to play on the offensive/defensive lines.**


Starting this year, we have partnered with Sport Paradise (Medford, NJ) to create an online store that will be utilized to order and distribute required and optional uniform pieces. Once registered in TeamSnap to PLAY,  use the below link to access the online store. All orders MUST be placed when registration closes on June 24th.

The online store will include several sections:
* FREE Mandatory Game Pant, Practice Jersey and Belt – (REQUIRED/NO COST)

* Game Jersey (Not Required if you intend to use your Jersey from last year) IMPORTANT – IF YOU ARE USING YOUR GAME JERSEY FROM LAST YEAR PLEASE MAKE SURE IT FITS

*Jersey numbers are assigned when you join the program. If you are new to the program, you will receive an email from the league after registration closes with available numbers. The league will work with Sports Paradise to assign you a number. 

* Practice Pant and Socks (Optional)

* Suggested Player Pack (Optional)

* Football Girdle (Optional) – If you get the girdle, you need to get knee pads at another location.

Sports Paradise will carry the sizes for the game and practice pants in their Medford store. If you have any questions on sizing prior to ordering, we highly recommend you stop by and fit your child.

At the end of the year, players will only be required to return helmets and shoulder pads.

Important Dates: Equipment handout (helmets and shoulder pads) will be Monday, August 8th. Practices are three days a week beginning August 9th and are typically every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Evesboro Downs. Mandatory league weigh-ins are the weekend of Sept 10th. Opening Day will be Sept 17 with playoffs starting on Nov 19th and Championship weekend Nov 26th and 27th.

Golf Spring 2022 Registration is OPEN. 

The age for participants are 5 years old to 17 years old. Children are not allowed to wear jeans. Children should wear sneakers. Children should have hats for the sun; especially the morning sessions. Children are allowed a beverage; water preferably.

Spring Golf lessons will run from May 29 to June 26 (29, 5, 12, 19, 26) each Sunday. Class taught by a PGA Instructor at Indian Springs. These are Sunday only sessions (1st Session 9 am to 10 am) (2nd Session 10 am to 11 am) (3rd Session 2 pm to 3 pm) and (4th Session 3 pm to 4 pm). These sessions are for eight participants each at a first come first serve basis. At the time of registration you will pick your time slot for all Sundays.  Registration fee is $170.00

Parents are asked to sign a waiver; as to the instructor being able to have physical contact with the child for adjustments regarding proper body positions for the lessons. Parents are asked to remain onsite; parking at 535 E. Main Street, Evesham, NJ (Indian Springs Driving Range). This will help for the children to go to the restroom/level of supervision.

Parents should purchase a Golf Starter Set (putter, wedge, iron driver) which should include 5 clubs (mindfulness if the child is a lefty). Suggestions are at Dick's, Wal Mart, Amazon etc. Additional questions please email Golf Commissioner Sha-Tee Ballo @




    Winter 2022

We will be accepting Marlton Dek Hockey Winter 2022-2023 registrations from AUGUST 15 until SEPTEMBER 30th. FRESHMAN REGISTRATION REMAINS OPEN UNTIL 11/20.  A late fee of $25.00 will be applied to all registrations beginning October 1. A multi-child discount will be applied at time of registration, but all children must be registered at the same time and by 9/30.

NOTE: NO PLAYER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE LEAGUE DRAFT. MRC Hockey attempts to roster competitive teams based on player ability, with each team being assigned players with a variety of skill levels. In direct terms, late registrations hurt the integrity and competitiveness of the program.

There will be ratings nights for Penguin and Beaver on 10/10 and 10/11 prior to the season. Players need only attend one night. We strongly encourage participation at a ratings night. Parents will be contacted in the early Fall with final details.  Players are drafted and rostered in late October.

MRC Hockey offers multiple divisions with practice beginning approximately November 1 and games beginning Thanksgiving Day weekend with our opening fundraising tournament. Dec 1st through mid-February, games-only are played Mon-Sunday. Chipmunk division is weekend-only with a split session of coaching followed by short games.

We will be accepting Marlton Dek Hockey Summer 2022 registrations from April 20 to May 30

Summer Hockey is laid-back, no practice, no standings, no playoffs, and will run in June and July, likely with games on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings.  Players who will be moving up to the next age bracket for winter hockey will 'play up' in the summer. to get a feel for the competition.

     Fall Recreation

Fall 2022 Rec Soccer registration is open until August 12. HIGH SCHOOL GRADES 9-10-11-12 and BOYS GRADES 7/8 remain open until August 26th.  The start of the fall season will be approximately September 10/11. The schedule for practices and games is dependent upon the division and team, and no specific information is available for practices and games. Registration is driven by player GRADE, so pick your child's appropriate league. Advanced players may be slotted up with commissioner approval. Due to the size of the league, special requests for neighbors to be placed on the same team, or players to be on the same team due to carpool, etc. cannot be honored.

  2022 FALL Recreation


FALL 2022 Recreation Softball registration will be open August 10 to Aug 28.  Season runs September and October.

Softball registration is open for the following grades:

  • Grades 2-3       $125.00
  • Grades 4-5       $125.00
  • Grades 6-7-8  $125.00





          Summer 2022

VOLLEYBALL registration for summer league is open until July 4 or until the cap is reached.   The summer season will be pick-up style games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from July 5 through September 1 at CHS.  This is a coed league for Grades 6-12. Registration is $90.




Registration for Wrestling is open October 11 to December 4. We are accepting registrations for wrestlers ages 5 to 14. The season cost is $140.00. Season will run late November through February. Ages 8 and under will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Marlton Middle School. Ages 9 and up will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Cherokee High School.
