6YR Old League

The 6 Year Old League builds on what was learned in t-ball. The focus is on teaching the fundamentals of the game, positional play and making sure the kids have FUN. This league is 100% coach pitch, but a tee will be brought out if a player is struggling to hit the coach's pitch. There are no outs recorded in an effort to allow kids to learn how to properly run the bases. The teams practice one day a week and have a game on Saturday morning. The season concludes in mid-June. No scores or standings are kept.

7YR Old League

Instructional league format where the primary goal is to make sure all the players have fun as they continue to develop their baseball skills and love of the game. Practice one night per week at rice elementary. Games played at diamonds at arrowhead complex. 100% coach pitch – no kid pitch. Position of catcher introduced starting with game 1. Outs recorded with eventual progression to traditional 3 up / 3 down baseball.

8YR Old League

INSTRUCTIONAL, SAFETY, GETTING TO REAL BASEBALL, FUN.

Our desire is to continue to foster in our boys a love of the game of baseball, help them learn how to play it better and to instill in them a desire to want to come back to play in future years. We will be expanding the skills and lessons/rules from the conclusion of the 7 year old season with the intention of playing by all the correct rules by this season’s end. The league will start with coach pitch games, transition into ½ Coach Pitch and ½ Kid Pitch Games, to finally ending with 100% kid pitch games. Real Baseball but keeping it fun. We will end the season with a tournament in which all the teams will participate.

9/10 YR Old League

The 9/10 year old league combines a fun and competitive baseball atmosphere. The league is broken into major and minor leagues to allow players to compete and succeed against other play with similar talent levels. This age group features a 46/60 setup (46' pitching distance, 60' base paths) which offers a greater chance for players to develop more baseball skills at a younger age. Additionally, this will help players prepare for their eventual transition to the 50/70 field of Babe Ruth and high school baseball.

11/12 YR Old League
