All MRC coaches are volunteers who have been certified after completing a three-hour training class. This includes a background check on all adult and teen volunteers.
Safety is the priority when instructing our cheerleaders and the coaches maintain professionalism when overseeing all aspects of practices and games.
Our coaches are the main point of contact via Team Snap during the season. They develop the plans for every practice and work with the cheerleaders to help instill confidence and build their self-esteem. Our coaches are vital to the squad’s success because they work closely with cheerleaders to teach them the correct movements, motions, and stunting. Every squad has at least three coaches.
During practices and games, at least three coaches are present to keep safety a first concern, promote good sportsmanship qualities, and keep it FUN!
