We will be accepting  Winter 2022/23 registrations August 15 until SEPTEMBER 30th.  

A late fee of $40.00 will be applied to all registrations beginning October 1.

FAQ's  *   Equipment Required   *    About Us / Divisions 

**A multi-child discount will be applied at time of registration, but all children must be registered at the same time by 9/30.**

NOTE: NO PLAYERS WILL BE ASSIGNED TO A TEAM AFTER THE LEAGUE DRAFT. 

MRC Hockey attempts to roster competitive teams based on player ability, with each team being assigned players with a variety of skill levels. In direct terms, late registrations hurt the integrity and competitiveness of the program.

There will be ratings nights for Penguin and Beaver on TUESDAY OCTOBER 10th ONLY 6:15PM.  We strongly encourage participation at a ratings night. Parents will be contacted in the early Fall with final details.  Players are drafted and rostered in late October.

MRC Hockey offers multiple divisions with practice beginning approximately October 28 and games beginning Thanksgiving Weekend with our opening fundraising tournament.

Dec 1st through mid-February, games-only are played Mon-Sunday. Chipmunk division is mostly weekend-only with a split session of coaching followed by short games.

We do not accept player/team request. All players are drafted, assistant coaches help on the team that your child is drafted on.

  This is the  format we attempt to follow. Due to the size of the league and limited rink availability, we play 7 days a week. Winter weather can cause change to format and scheduling adjustments.

10/30- Regular Registration Closes- Freshman teams typically chose not to practice.

Draft is Mid- Nov, Games begin Tue, Nov 28.

* WAIT LIST: We never want to turn a player away, but we do have to set team limits, based on various reason to move forward and get the season started on time.

Refund Policy:

  • 8/15 - 9/30, refunds may be pro-rated.

  • 10/1 - 10/25, refunds will be pro-rated if you choose to drop.

  • After 10/25, refunds will not be issued.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The League is 100% Volunteer, we are dependent on Volunteer Head Coaches, which dictate the size of our league and can cause us to cap registration #'s.
