We will be accepting Winter 2024-2025 registrations from AUGUST 15 until SEPTEMBER 30th. A late fee of $40.00 will be applied to all registrations beginning October 1. FRESHMAN REGISTRATION REMAINS OPEN UNTIL 10/30 with no late fee. A multi-child discount will be applied at time of registration, but all children must be registered at the same time and by 9/30. Refunds after registration are prorated based on date/equipment ordering.
NOTE: NO REGISTRATIONS FOR FOR PENGUIN, BEAVER AND CADET WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE LEAGUE DRAFT-about third week of October. MRC Hockey attempts to roster competitive teams based on player ability, with each team being assigned players with a variety of skill levels. In direct terms, late registrations hurt the integrity and competitiveness of the program.
There will be ratings nights for Penguin and Beaver in early October (date TBD). We strongly encourage participation at a ratings night. Parents will be contacted in September with final details. Players are drafted and rostered in mid-October.
MRC Hockey offers multiple divisions with practice beginning approximately November 1. This season will begin PRIOR to Thanksgiving. Games will be played Thanksgiving Day weekend. The season runs through mid-February, games are played Mon-Sunday. Chipmunk division is typically weekend-only with a split session of coaching followed by short games, but you may play a Friday night game under the lights.
We do not accept player/team request. All players are drafted, assistant coaches help on the team that your child is drafted on.

IMPORTANT COACHES INFORMATION:
The League is dependent on Volunteer Coaches, which dictates the size of our league and can cause us to cap registration #'s.

Registering early allows the Coordinators to plan accordingly.
